Manuka Honey is native to Australia and New Zealand.

The active ingredient methylglyoxal from manuka honey gives it its anti-bacterial, anti- inflammatory and anti-viral properties. It is also known for its antioxidant benefits. When used in skincare, it can help reduce skin inflammation and redness, as well as providing soothing and healing benefits to the skin.

Manuka honey has been used in bandages in Australia, New Zealand and UK to effectively prevent infection and promote skin healing.

It's also proven to act as a natural humectant - helping to hydrate and draw moisture into the skin.

Coconut Oil
Coco Nucifer, or Coconut Oil has been shown in studies on individuals with dry skin to improve themoisture content of the skin. It can also reduce symptoms of eczema. Additional studies have shown that compounds in coconut oil can block the cellular process of bacteria. Its antimicrobial and antifungal properties can help the body fight various skin diseases such as rashes, itches, dermatitis, Athlete's Foot and ringworm.

It is also rich in antioxidants and Vitamin E and has been used for thousands of years across societies.
